Caught in the Spider Queen’s Web
The animation follows the Laila, a loyal powerful woman caught in the strings of the Spider Queen. Her journey leads to great power and influence, even the title of Empress. Yet with all the treasures in the world she is still left in a cage. Laila’s Serenade explores lost feelings, hope of something beyond a normal life.

This animation was a test to to complete a minute long animation, animating all frames.
“My Nocturnal Serenade” brought the aspects and the tones that felt connected the the character of Laila. A puppet lost of her own free will, chasing a relationship. A way to break free of her life and start anew.
