Senior Exhibition
As a multimedia project, Sonder reflects on my relationship with in person and virtual communities who gather to play tabletop games. The film showcases a unique combination of traditional 2D animation and video footage that is stylized to appear cell shaded.
Debuted in Tweed Museum of Art
A week-long Exhibition, filling the space with drawings, concept art, storyboards, and more. All to show audience what goes into animation.
Small Team
Over a 9 month period, I undertook the process of making a film using pre-existing technology to create a new cinematic process. The film was an attempt to understand and learn the process that goes into the animation industry.
Cell Shaded Video & Animation
Through a combination of cinematography and digital collage, I achieved a cell shaded, 2Dimensional look to the footage. This allowed a consistent style throughout the piece, despite working in two different mediums.

Collaborative Character Design
With the story taking inspiration from Dungeon and Dragon Campaigns, the characters in the short come from an array of players. Each Character has their own character sheet, and was the brain child of every player.
